Zilor is an industry devoted to generating energy and producing foodstuff, that transforms agricultural and natural resources in a sustainable manner, engaged in social development. Founded in 1946, Zilor began its activities producing sugar and ethanol and, more recently, diversified its activities by adequating its units for generating clean and renewable electric energy from biomass. It also created the Biorigin Business Unit in 2003, to produce natural ingredients destined for human and animal consumption.
